Google Piracy
Google Piracy
In order to reinforce Google’s commitment to fighting online piracy we created a film, global anti-piracy website and supporting comms outlining how we protect online content and its respect rights-holders.
Film
We shot in London, Paris and San Francisco, interviewing senior leaders at Google as they explained the continuous efforts the company is taking to develop programs, policies and technology to fight online piracy.
Google: The Fight Against Piracy - Protecting Content Together
The website was designed to be a central hub for all of Google’s Piracy content, in order to make it quick and easy for content creators and rights-holders to access what they need. It was deployed to coincide with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for Advertising Online and localised for nine countries, including Russian and Hebrew.
Supporting communications
In order to support the publication of Google’s latest Piracy Report, we designed a fold out leaflet for key opinion formers, summarising how Google fights piracy and the impact we’ve had to date. It was localised for both digital and print across nine markets and featured as part of the Piracy playbook, helping local markets activate the ‘How Google fights piracy’ narrative. The playbook also included our social campaign.
