Animal lover, special dates, super sports fan? We tend to use predictable themes connected to our lives to help us remember our passwords: pets’ names, birthday, sports teams.
Yet four billion passwords have been stolen across the web in recent years. Even those who devise complex, obscure passwords aren’t safe.
2-Step Verification gives any password an extra layer of security - but less than 10% of users have it enabled.
We created a series of fun, playful animations that highlight the human side of security - making an inherently hard subject more appealing to users. Our aim was to increase product usage and demonstrate that 2-Step Verification is an easy to use product feature that benefits everyone.
The project was launched on the Google Beach at Cannes 2019.
